Kicheche Laikipia Camp Itinerary

Day 1

Depart Nairobi's Wilson airport for your scheduled morning flight (0800 or 1020) to Nanyuki. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the camp in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, your journey time is approximately 45 minutes. Lunch at camp then relax until afternoon tea is served. Venture out onto the rolling plains on your game drive to enjoy the wonderful array of game on offer. Game driving in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a true pleasure with very few other vehicles in the area. This evening enjoy a sundowner drink at a scenic spot followed by a spotlight drive back to camp. Take a hot shower before joining other guests for a drink around the campfire or in our cosy lounge tent. Dine with your hosts either under the stars or in our adjacent dining tent.

Day 2

An early start to the day with piping hot coffee or tea brought to your tent. This morning take a longer game drive and enjoy a sumptuous picnic breakfast out in the field.You also have the option of going lion tracking, an exciting activity which also assists the Conservancy research program.

Return to camp for an al-fresco lunch and relax in a hammock afterwards. This afternoon we will take you to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary on a private visit. Following some time with the chimps continue on your evening game drive until dusk.

Day 3

This morning one can take a walking excursion from camp with one of our guides and a ranger. Walk duration and distance can be arranged to suit your preference. Return to camp for an al-fresco breakfast before departing for Nanyuki airstrip for a Nairobi flight (1200 or 1230) or onward to Samburu (1100) or Masai Mara (1000).

Departing from Nairobi:

A 2 night package (as above) is US$895 per person inclusive of Conservancy fees. Extra nights are US$300 plus $50 Conservancy fee.

*15-31 Dec 08*

A 2 night package (as above) is US$1030 per person inclusive of Conservancy fees. Extra nights are US$350 plus $60 Conservancy fee.

2009 Rates

Departing from Nairobi:

A 2 night package (as above) is US$1100 per person inclusive of Conservancy fees. Extra nights are US$385 plus $60 Conservancy fee.

Single Supplement: $135 per night, applicable 15Jul-15 Oct only.

Rates Include: Return Nairobi-Nanyuki flight, airstrip transfers, unlimited shared game drives by 4WD vehicle, services of a KPSGA qualified driver/guide, bush walks, full board accommodation, drinks and laundry.

Rates Exclude: Nairobi airport transfers, and items of a personal nature.

Departing from Nairobi:

2 Night Package US$955 per person inclusive of Conservancy fees. Extra nights at US$320 per person per night plus $60 per person Conservancy fees per day.
