Desert Runner & Dune Hopper
The Desert Runner service has ceased operation with only Dune Hopper available for shuttle services. The Dune Hopper flight times are:
Depart Windhoek Eros at 10h45, arrive Sossusvlei at 12h00
Depart Sossusvlei at 09h00, arrive Windhoek Eros at 10h15
Depart Swakopmund at 14h15, arrive Sossusvlei area at 15h30
Depart Sossusvlei area at 12h30, arrive Swakopmund at 13h45

The private NamibRand Reserve is one of those special places that refuses to allow thoughts of a damp European winter or a gloomy economic forecast to settle. I think it is accurate to predict that a maximum of ten minutes spent admiring the pristine desert views from the deck at Dunes Lodge is all that would be required to coax a smile for the duration of your stay. A second ice cold G and T in the warm evening air and the outlook will be positively rosy! For those seeking an absolute break from reality this Christmas, there is still limited space available at both Dune Camp and Dunes Lodge.

September 2008 saw the finishing touches being put to exciting upgrades at Wolwedans Private Camp and Wolwedans Dunes Lodge. The Dunes Lodge bedrooms and bathrooms have been extended by a generous 40%, making them wonderfully spacious and even more airy.
The Private Camp upgrade includes the addition of an innovative open-plan kitchen, as well as a new dining room and lounge. Wooden patios and walkways have also been extended, adding to the total comfort and ambience synonymous with Private Camp.

DUNEHOPPER SCENIC FLIGHT RATE INCREASES
Due to recent fuel price increases, the scenic flights from Wolwedans have increased.
